    As part of the recent 20th Anniversary of Toyota-Derbyshire Twinning activities the Japan Local Government Centre will be hosting a conference to focus on creating opportunities for local business through international municipal twinning links.

    The conference will look at Derbyshire's longstanding link with Toyota City, international strategies implemented by local authorities with Japan and the importance of UK local authorities forming long-term partnerships to support their local economies.

    This event has been organised in partnership with Derby County Council and Marketing Derby for local businesses interested in finding out more about the Japanese market and Japanese inward investment trends in the UK.

    Let's Get Mental! Conference - Saturday 02 February 2019

    The Let's Get Mental! Conference is an event that aims to celebrate participation within mental health services and the role of young people in raising awareness of mental health and well-being; showcasing stories of young people having a voice in shaping Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and allied services which support young people.

    Organized by the Young Advisors for the CYP IAPT Midlands Collaborative, the day hopes to share and learn from examples of service-user participation across the country and to discuss best practice for continued collaboration between young people, their families and professional services.

    General themes of the day may include*:

    Youth Participation and / or Parent Participation
    Collaboration and shared-decision making
    Minority groups and mental health needs.
    Transition within mental health services
    Mindfulness & Well-being
